These beautiful gardens were created by Emperor Ferdinand I of Habsburg in 1534, where once stretched to the vineyards. Various constructions were then added to these gardens designed in the Italian style: the Renaissance Belvedere of Queen Anne, the bronze fountain and the Room of the tennis court. Tulips were grown, first in Europe, sulphuric gift tan Turkey. It is from here that they then spread to Holland, now known country for its culture of tulip. one

Also found in these gardens the “little house" inhabited by the Czechoslovak presidents.

Karlovy Vary holds the title of the best known spa town in the Czech Republic. Its history stems from the 14thcentury, during the reign of Charles IV. The healing powers of the local springs have been tested by such greats as by the Russian Tsar Peter the Great and German poet Goethe.

Karlovy Vary also became famous thanks to the local manufacturing of its world renowned Moser crystal, Carlsbad porcelain and the traditional Czech herb liqueur Becherovka. After arriving to Karlovy Vary, you will enjoy an exclusive visit to the Moser crystal factory before being taken on a guided tour of the town centre to see the most famous geyser, Vridlo (Sprudel), gushing its mineral water to a height of almost 12 metres!
